Dave Sullivan, Director and General Manager of Greenhous Nissan explains the impact of the move saying: “Space is often critical in a busy dealership especially when, as is the case with Nissan, we have so many excellent models to display including our all-electric vehicles. We have plans for the new showroom to be revamped in due course, but we have immediately taken advantage of the extra space within the showroom and externally on the pitch. We have a bigger footprint to give the customers a bigger choice.
“We have almost trebled the space for vehicles in the showroom and have all of our range on show including the new Navara NP300 and X-trail, the Qashqai and Juke models as well as the Pulsar, Note and Micra. On top of this we have the all-electric Nissan LEAF and the e-NV200 electric van in the showroom connected to dummy charging points.”
Extra space for customers has also been created outside of the showroom and electric car customers can come and re-charge their cars at the charging points outside the entrance to the building free of charge. Greenhous Nissan also offer the electric LEAF as a courtesy car for customers who have their car in for service, repair or MOT to experience the pleasures of driving electric.
Dave is also pleased to welcome two new members of staff to Nissan Shrewsbury. “We are very much open for business and that business continues to expand, so we have taken on a new Service Supervisor and a new technician as we have increased our workshop capacity.”
