Accidents happen, and when they do you can rest assured that Nissan’s EV Roadside Assistance will get you back on the road in no time. All Nissan Electric Vehicles sold and distributed in EV countries are covered by Nissan EV Pan-European Roadside Assistance. This is provided for the duration of your vehicle’s basic warranty period – i.e. three years except E-NV200 which benefits for five years.

You’ll also benefit from one of our You+Nissan CARE pledges every time you service your car at Greenhous Nissan. This means you can continue to enjoy one year Nissan EV Roadside Assistance, which also covers you in Europe, completely free of charge.

 

WHAT YOUR COVER INCLUDES

Whatever happens, Nissan EV Pan-European Roadside Assistance services will help you stay mobile with minimum inconvenience. And your Electric Vehicle will be covered regardless of who is driving – just as long as they have your permission and a valid driving licence.

  • ROADSIDE REPAIR
    If your Nissan EV becomes stranded following an unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdown, our assistance patrol will be sent to your location. Following the incident if the vehicle can be repaired on the spot, the breakdown service and repair costs will be covered for both warranty and non-warranty incidents.
  • TOWING SERVICE
    If it is not possible to solve the problem at the roadside or your vehicle is immobilised in an accident, it would be recovered and towed to your nearest home* dealer (if within 30 miles) or the nearest Nissan dealer for repair.
  • EV BATTERY OUT OF CHARGE
    Whatever happens, Nissan EV Pan-European Roadside Assistance services will help you stay mobile with minimum inconvenience. And your Electric Vehicle will be covered regardless of who is driving – just as long as they have your permission and a valid driving licence.

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

If your vehicle is immobilised or unavailable due to a mechanical or self-induced breakdown or an accident, the driver and the passengers are entitled to one of the following additional benefits if the Electric Vehicle cannot be repaired on the same day:

  • CONTINUATION OF THE TRIP OR RETURN HOME
    Should you choose to continue your journey, we’ll arrange the onward travel for a limited distance between the point of departure and the point where the breakdown occurred; or the return to the driver’s home address. The options available are; a train, 1st class; taxi up to 30 miles; or any other suitable means.
  • REPLACEMENT VEHICLE
    We’ll supply you, the driver, with a replacement car (non EV) for a maximum of three working days or until the repair is completed, whichever is sooner. Charging and toll fees are at the user’s expense and the replacement car excludes all other additional services. Drivers of special vehicles such as taxis, driving-school vehicles, short-term rental vehicles, etc. are not eligible for this service.
  • COLLECTION OF REPAIRED VEHICLES
    We’ll also arrange for a single person selected by the owner of the Nissan EV to collect the vehicle, to be transported to the repair centre, with the same conditions as those applicable to the continuation of the journey.

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France (excluding DOM TOM ), Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain (excluding Ceuta and Melilla), Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (excluding Guernsey and Jersey).*

(i) *For countries not listed above the Towing warranty applies – should your vehicle become inoperative due to a warrantable or non-warrantable defect in a country not covered by the Nissan. 

(ii) During the warranty period, the number of Roadside Assistance services resulting from no or low EV battery charge depends on a fair usage of the vehicle. Fair Usage Clause: 

• In the case of repeated non-starts with plausible causes Roadside Assistance service will be provided. 

• In the case of non-starts (by same driver) without plausible causes no Roadside Assistance will be provided. 

• Nissan Assistance will be able to make a fair judgment based on best practice experience.
