The secret to a successful aftersales department is teamwork, and having a balance of experience and new blood being trained up in the ‘Greenhous Way’ of working to achieve excellence in customer care and the service provided.
Nissan General Service Manager, Andrew Mountford is a proud leader of the aftersales teams at Greenhous Nissan. He comments positively on the quality of staff he manages saying: “I feel that I now have the perfect teams at both sites to be able to move us further forward as a flourishing business. We are in an excellent position to cope with the growth, not only because Nissan have seen in their market share increase, but also in the extra customers that we are now seeing at both sites as a result. This is fantastic news for all and I’m really confident that this is just the beginning of a new phase of success for our popular Nissan dealerships.”
Facing the public can be a daunting task, but not for new recruit Catherine McAuley, service advisor across both dealerships. Catherine, who originally comes from Rugeley, is now settled in Telford and has a number of years of experience in customer care. She has worked in health spas and fitness centres with a focus on helping customers with health and well-being. She brings her calm approach to customer care at Nissan. Soon to be married, Catherine is a keen Nottingham Forest supporter!
Also new at Nissan Telford, but by no means a novice, is David Gailey, a service technician with 12 years of experience working on Mitsubishi cars. David started as an apprentice in the trade and is very keen to make the most of the training opportunities the Nissan Academy offers its staff. David is keen to become a Master Technician in due course. He has always loved working on cars. His spare time at home in Beckbury is divided between time spent with his two children and a passion for building radio controlled cars including a monster truck, a drifter and a Traxxas Slash!
Master Technician is the title two Greenhous Nissan technicians have just been awarded. At Telford Ryan Cooper has just received his accreditation. To achieve this accolade required Ryan to attend the Nissan Academy in Watford and pass a series of practical test with a high degree of accuracy. This he managed to do with flying colours. In 2014 Ryan took some time out to travel to the Far East and Australia with his wife, Tanya, but even whilst he was in the far flung corners of the world he was accessing on line training with Nissan such was his determination to improve himself.
