TECHNICIAN AND MOT TESTER

Greenhous Vauxhall Telford

 

Reporting to: Aftersales Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Service Team at Greenhous Vauxhall Telford as a Technician and MOT Tester.

We have built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will also need to be fully skilled, with some main dealer experience an advantage. An MOT testing qualification would be required.

Key Responsibilites:

Accurately and skilfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles.

Communicating with Parts department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.

Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

Ensuring opportunities are identified to improve the business/profitability.

Full knowledge of our products and customer needs.

Support and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities.

Undertake the necessary training and skills development.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Vauxhall experience is preferred but not essential as brand training will be given.

MOT experience would be required.

Customer orientated.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays, 8.30am to 12.30pm. Please note that this role requires flexibility to work additional hours to meet the demands of the business

OFFICE SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton

 

Reporting to: Finance Director

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Office Support Administrator to join our busy Administration team at Greenhous DAF in Wolverhampton. 

Key Responsibilites:

Sales Ledger support to include:

Obtaining Bank and Trade references.

Opening new accounts.

Chasing sales ledger customers for payments of outstanding invoices.

Responsibility of recording customer accounts queries in an Excel query log.

Communication of customer queries to relevant departments.

Inputting sales ledger credit notes.

Allocation of cash receipts to customer accounts.

 

Purchase Ledger support to include:

Inputting purchase invoices.

Matching purchase invoices against an electronic goods received record.

 

Reception support to include:

Answering the phone, handling customer queries and directing calls.

Meet and greet customers in a professional manner.

Deal with all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Well-presented and professional with a positive and helpful attitude.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload.

Familiar with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Hours of Work:

WORKSHOP CONTROLLER

Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury are recruiting for a Workshop Controller to strengthen their industry-leading aftersales team and to work alongside the lead controller. Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

The role will cover all aspects of running a busy workshop and will therefore require both technical and administration knowledge as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as is a sound understanding of commercial vehicles and strong organisational skills.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, i.e. 40 hours per week. Saturday on a rota basis. One hour for lunch (unpaid).

CASUAL (ZERO HOURS) DELIVERY DRIVERS

Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall

 

Reporting to: Logistics Manager

Our Fleet Services Drivers deliver cars and light commercial vehicles on behalf of our customers to and from a variety of locations across the UK. Working as a brand ambassador of the Greenhous client portfolio, you’ll be required to ensure that the hand over and collection of vehicles to our corporate clients are conducted in a professional and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out delivery of vehicles around the UK. Following delivery or collection you will return to the office by train on our Greenhous Trainline account.

Ability to learn and demonstrate vehicle features.

You will also be able to work with various software platforms using a company provided Samsung Tablet.

Ensure all work is completed safely within company guidelines.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Full Driving License required

It is essential to be a Skilled, Safe and Confident Driver.

Experience in driving Manual and Automatic vehicles.

National geographical knowledge required and the ability to demonstrate a satisfactory driving history.

Experience within a similar role would prove advantageous but is not essential.

To be Self-Motivated.

To be able to work as part of a team.

As these roles are customer facing applicants need to be smart and presentable with excellent customer communications skills, with a confident and professional manner.

Hours of Work:

Due to the nature of the appointment, no hours are guaranteed by either party. You will be paid only for actual hours worked. Hours of work may vary from day to day, depending upon operational requirements so applicants will have a flexible attitude to work the ad-hoc hours required.

PANEL BEATER

Greenhous Accident Repair Centre in Shrewsbury and Newtown

 

Reporting to: Director of Bodyshops

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit for new Panel Beaters at our Greenhous Accident Repair Centres at Old Potts Way, Shrewsbury and Ford Newtown.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out various tasks to a high standard within a fast moving refurbishment workshop.

Communicating effectively with colleagues whilst passing on vehicles to the next stage in the repair process. 

Must be able to repair /replace panels.

Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with a special emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Fully compliant with welding all steels and using panel pulling equipment.

Solid understanding of vehicle refurbishment processes.

Experience in panel repair and new panel fitment.

Keen eye for detail and quality.

Strong communication skills with a mature and professional approach.

Flexible attitude to working hours and overtime.

ATA/NVQ certification is essential.
