CASUAL (ZERO HOURS) DELIVERY DRIVERS

Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall

 

Reporting to: Logistics Manager

Our Fleet Services Drivers deliver cars and light commercial vehicles on behalf of our customers to and from a variety of locations across the UK. Working as a brand ambassador of the Greenhous client portfolio, you’ll be required to ensure that the hand over and collection of vehicles to our corporate clients are conducted in a professional and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilites:

Carrying out delivery of vehicles around the UK. Following delivery or collection you will return to the office by train on our Greenhous Trainline account.

Ability to learn and demonstrate vehicle features.

You will also be able to work with various software platforms using a company provided Samsung Tablet.

Ensure all work is completed safely within company guidelines.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Full Driving License required

It is essential to be a Skilled, Safe and Confident Driver.

Experience in driving Manual and Automatic vehicles.

National geographical knowledge required and the ability to demonstrate a satisfactory driving history.

Experience within a similar role would prove advantageous but is not essential.

To be Self-Motivated.

To be able to work as part of a team.

As these roles are customer facing applicants need to be smart and presentable with excellent customer communications skills, with a confident and professional manner.

Hours of Work:

Due to the nature of the appointment, no hours are guaranteed by either party.  You will be paid only for actual hours worked. Hours of work may vary from day to day, depending upon operational requirements so applicants will have a flexible attitude to work the ad-hoc hours required.

APPRENTICE PARTS PERSON

Reporting to: Parts Manager

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Apprentice Parts Person to join a busy Parts Team at Greenhous Commercials in Shrewsbury. 

This 2 year Parts Apprenticeship is ideal for people who want to enter the industry and go far, the programme offers a genuine chance to learn the role inside out. Vehicles rely on good parts supply, which in turn requires effective stock management at the local dealership, here's your chance to become a professional in parts logistics for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilites:

As this role offers a varied workload the Apprentice Parts Person will develop skills in a number of areas, including safe storage of parts, handling, storing and receiving stock, payments, procedures, identifying, sourcing and ordering parts, monitoring and solving customer problems/enquiries and processing of customer orders. You will be working with both customers and workshop staff, over the phone and face to face, using computerised stock management systems and parts identification programme.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

You will be results driven, ready to achieve (and exceed!) performance targets. If you are confident, self-motivated and a good communicator then you could be the person for us. In addition you will possess excellent customer service and administration skills. Having a driving licence would be an advantage but not essential.

Reporting to: Service Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Service Team at Greenhous Nissan Featherbed Lane (Shrewsbury) as a Vehicle Technician. 

We have built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will also need to be fully skilled, with some main dealer experience an advantage. An MOT testing qualification would be desirable.

Key Responsibilites:

Accurately and skilfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles.

Communicating with Parts department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.

Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

Ensuring opportunities are identified to improve the business/profitability.

Full knowledge of our products and customer needs.

Support and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities.

Undertake the necessary training and skills development.

Nissan experience is preferred but not essential as brand training will be given.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Truck Sales Administrator to work within a busy Sales office environment at Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury. Training will cover all aspects of administration in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.

The Truck Sales Administrator will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the Sales department, to ensure all financial and business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilites:

Carrying out general administrative tasks which may include but are not limited to:

Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls

Supporting reception

Maintenance of electronic filing system

This is a 15 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of a permanent appointment at the end.

Key Responsibilites:

Assist in network security related projects

Apply the latest security patches and firmware updates to all forms of software and hardware.

Assist with monitoring and resolving any vulnerabilities within the network.

Monitor anti-virus software

Monitor mobile device management software

Produce monthly reports from the Helpdesk system including:

Network usage and overall performance

Anti-Virus Reports

Systems Availability

Patch management status report

Admin Duties:

Keep documentation up to date.

Log jobs on the helpdesk system relating to any security vulnerabilities detected

Reporting to: PDI Manager

As a Van Ply Liner and Accessory Fitter, you’ll be a self-motivated and organised person who takes pride in delivering high quality work.

You will provide a service using your own initiative to achieve the required specification within agreed timescales.

The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in a similar role and be familiar with working with vehicle electronic systems.

Key Responsibilites:

Lining and fitting accessories to vehicles, meeting exact specifications.

Organising your own workload and meeting deadlines.

Working efficiently.

Checking vehicles for damage before and after work is carried out.

Recording processes at each stage of the fitment, and checking work is carried out to the highest standards.

Keeping your work space and van tidy and safe at all times.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Proven track record of commercial vehicle ply lining and accessory fitting.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team environment.

Good ability to listen and follow instructions and recommendations.

Great communication skills.

Strong practical working skills with experience in electronic vehicle systems.

A self-motivated and organised approach.

Full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.
