HGV TECHNICIANS
(day and night shifts available)

Greenhous Commercials are recruiting HGV Technicians to strengthen our industry-leading Aftersales team at Shrewsbury.  Our company philosophy is to provide our customers with the best possible service, delivered by the best people.  We invest in our people to achieve this, including ongoing training and a competitive salary.

Reporting To: DAF Service Manager

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

HGV experience is essential 
DAF experience would be an added advantage 
An HGV licence would also be advantageous

Hours of Work:

Day shift role: Alternating early / late shifts, Monday to Friday
Night shift role: 4 nights per week

CASUAL DELIVERY DRIVERS
(ZERO HOURS)

Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall

 

Reporting to: Logistics Manager

Our Fleet Services Drivers deliver cars and light commercial vehicles on behalf of our customers to and from a variety of locations across the UK. Working as a brand ambassador of the Greenhous client portfolio, you’ll be required to ensure that the hand over and collection of vehicles to our corporate clients are conducted in a professional and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilites:

Carrying out delivery of vehicles around the UK. Following delivery or collection you will return to the office by train on our Greenhous Trainline account.

Ability to learn and demonstrate vehicle features.

You will also be able to work with various software platforms using a company provided Samsung Tablet.

Ensure all work is completed safely within company guidelines.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Full Driving License required.

It is essential to be a Skilled, Safe and Confident Driver.

Experience in driving Manual and Automatic vehicles.

National geographical knowledge required and the ability to demonstrate a satisfactory driving history.

Experience within a similar role would prove advantageous but is not essential.

To be Self-Motivated.

To be able to work as part of a team.

As these roles are customer facing applicants need to be smart and presentable with excellent customer communications skills, with a confident and professional manner.

Hours of Work:

Due to the nature of the appointment, no hours are guaranteed by either party.  You will be paid only for actual hours worked. Hours of work may vary from day to day, depending upon operational requirements so applicants will have a flexible attitude to work the ad-hoc hours required.

AUTOMOTIVE PRE-DELIVERY OPERATORS AND SENIOR PDI TECHNICIANS

Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall

 

Reporting to: Fleet Operations Director

Due to continued growth at Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall, vacancies have arisen for Senior PDI Technicians and Automotive Pre-Delivery Operators.

Key Responsibilites:

AUTOMOTIVE PRE-DELIVERY OPERATOR

As part of your role, you will be undertaking general maintenance checks including tyre pressures, lights, fluids, wheel nuts and controls.

No formal qualifications are required although experience in a similar role would be welcome, training will be provided.

SENIOR PDI TECHNICIAN

A Senior PDI Technician will have the added responsibility of fitting any accessories and additional equipment such as dual controls, hardtops, Bed-liners and Tonneau covers, and will also complete the final quality check on all vehicles.  

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

A driving licence is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm i.e. 42.5 hours per week.

30 minutes for lunch (unpaid)
